School of Sociology & Public Health Management Department

The school is composed of 4 teaching and research sections, namely, the Marxist Theory, the Mao Zedong Thought Fundamentals, the Deng Xiaoping Principles, the guidance of "Three Representatives", and thought & morals, all aiming to cultivate noble ethics & morals in the students.

The department of public health management runs three programs, namely, the public health care management, the intelligence management and intelligence system, and the labor and social insurance, and offers the master's degree in the public health care management. It has run co-operative courses for the postgraduate program with Harbin Medical University, Heilongjiang Province, and the Public Health Bureau of Hebei Province. It is the locale of Hebei Branch, China Public Health Management Association.

In possession of an independent library, a data office, and a computer room, the department is well equipped, known for its advanced teaching methodology. It has successfully accomplished more than 10 provincial and state ministerial research projects, and it is a participator in 3 state research projects. Its faculty members have published many books, textbooks, and papers.
