Postgraduate and Master's Degree Education

Founded in 1985, the postgraduate school offers over 30 programs, all granting the master's degree. Of the programs, internal medicine and chirurgery are subjects ranking II. Students on the job, too, are eligible to receive the master's degree in all the programs even though without the eligibility to get the postgraduate diploma. Recruiting students across the country, it is planning to admit 200 this year.
Now the registered number of students is 436, and students on the job are 260. Many of its graduates have been granted the doctoral degree after another period of study or are on the way to get it. There are 128 mentors at present.

In recent years, having established a close friendly relationship with medical universities and medical research institutes in many foreign countries and areas like Japan, the USA, and Germany, etc., the university has been accepting foreign students and sending its own students abroad for further study as a part of the extensive international medical academic exchange and of cooperative activities that the university has been carrying out, and quite a number of the postgraduates have been lucky enough to have the chance to further their study abroad.
