Department of Preventive Medicine

It has 10 teaching and research sections, one department central laboratory, and one provincial key laboratory. It is ranking I in granting master's degree in public health and preventive medicine.

Its two programs, epidemiology and medical statistics, are listed as Hebei provincial key programs. Its labor sanitation and environmental sanitation are key developing programs in Hebei Province. Its epidemiology and vocational medicine are ranking first in Hebei Province. For undergraduates, it offers two programs, preventive medicine, and mother-and-child health care. Now it is undertaking 20 odd scientific research projects, and every year its faculty members have tens of papers published in periodicals at home and abroad.
