It
has 3 teaching and research sections and one department
central laboratory. It is a well-staffed department,
with 2 guest professors from the Nursing College, Union
Hospital, Beijing.
In order to
develop the students' overall ability to adapt to the
social changes, the faculty offers special programs such
as community nursing, geriatric nursing, nursing
aesthetics, and figure gymnastics. In recent years its
faculty members have had more than 40 papers published.
To share up-to-date teaching and research experience
with foreign universities, it has reached an agreement
with the nursing School, Yamagata University, Japan, to
exchange , certain number of teachers and students
yearly to carry out teaching and research exchange
activities, which has aid a solid foundation for
training students of high quality.
